Hold both keys, click a pinned app, and it launches with elevated permissions. That is the whole idea behind the name.

Our story

Our story

Why this company exists, and where the name came from.

  1. What we do

Ctrl Shift Run is a technology company. We develop custom websites with Next.js and manage Google Ads campaigns.

  2. Where the name comes from

The name comes from a keyboard shortcut. Holding Ctrl+Shift while opening a taskbar-pinned application launches it in administrative mode - overriding the default permissions. It's a fitting metaphor for what we do: helping ambitious brands move past the limitations of templated tools and generic software, and building the kind of infrastructure that lets them scale without permission.

How we work

Two rules we do not bend.

The way we run projects is the reason clients stay. No moving targets, no hostage code.

Code you own

The code is yours. Take it to any developer at any time and it will make sense to them.

No proprietary lock-in

We build on open frameworks and standard tooling, never on a platform that holds your site hostage.

Founder & Lead Developer

Nikki Quinn Baker, raised in Florida, has always embraced adventure and thought beyond conventional boundaries. When faced with a 'no,' he consistently found alternative paths to the desired outcome.

Growing up, he spent countless hours playing Xbox, where he first learned to modify code and taught others how to do the same with their mods. That early curiosity about how things work behind the scenes is what ultimately motivated him to start his own tech company.
