Overview

The project

Lygofast is our own electronic music project. As an EDM producer and DJ, we specialize in melodic vocal chops, original tracks, and remixes, and our live sets are built only from self-produced originals and remixes, paired with a futuristic stage identity. We needed a central hub that linked to all our streaming platforms, showcased our live performance photos, and gave nightclubs and labels an easy way to book shows.

What we built

  • Custom Next.js artist website with streaming links to Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music
  • Photo gallery of live performances at venues like Shephard's Wave Nightclub in Clearwater Beach
  • About page telling the story behind our music and our vocal chop production style
  • FAQ page answering common questions about our music and live performance approach
  • Contact page for nightclub bookings, label work, press, and creative collaborations

How we approached it

An artist site has one job: get a listener from a name to a track in as few taps as possible. The streaming links to Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music are central to the site, so a new listener can start playing right away.

The same site also has to work for the people who book shows. The gallery of live performances, including photos from Shephard's Wave Nightclub in Clearwater Beach, shows what a night looks like, and the contact page is set up for nightclub bookings, labels, press, and creative collaborations.

Music first

The home page leads with the music. A short line invites visitors to jump into the latest releases and remixes, and one-tap buttons open the project on Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon Music. A Listen button sits in the header so it is available on every page.

Below that, a Start with the music section frames the rest of the site: stream the catalog first, then explore the visuals, the story, and the club dates.

The identity behind the sound

An artist site has to convey a feel as well as information. Sections on stage energy, performance DNA, and visual language describe the melodic vocal chops, the sets built from self-produced tracks and personal remixes, and the costume, movement, and futuristic styling that define the project.

An artist overview ties it together as a focused hub for listeners, promoters, labels, and anyone discovering the project for the first time, with cards that lead to the photo gallery, the frequently asked questions, and the booking and press contact.

Live shows and bookings

A live shows section lists where Lygofast has performed across Florida, including Shephard's Wave Nightclub on Clearwater Beach, The Rite Place in Lakeland, and The Patio in Daytona Beach. It gives promoters a quick sense of the kind of rooms the project plays.

Bookings are one click away from that section, and the contact page is set up for nightclub bookings, label work, press, and creative collaborations. The gallery shows the performances in costume, and the FAQ page answers common questions about the music and the live approach.

Built to the same standards as every project

Every Ctrl Shift Run website is custom built from the ground up in Next.js and TypeScript, with no templates or page builders. Each build targets green PageSpeed Insights scores on mobile and desktop, plus 3/3 on the agentic browsing check, and is structured so search engines and AI assistants can read it. Because this is our own project, the code stays with us.
